Factor’s takeaways from the recent IA Conference in Orlando

Factor recently delivered a workshop at The IA Conference (Formerly known as The IA Summit) which was held in Orlando, Florida in March. Attendees learned how to manage information at an enterprise level as well as the basics of taxonomy in a business setting. If you attended or would like to hear more about this topic, Factor is offering a Free Webinar on Wednesday, April 4th.

Factor was proud to be a sponsor of this year’s conference, which was held in Florida with the theme of Gateways: Legacy With Purpose. The Factor team soaked up knowledge from other IA innovators (like Kim Goodwin, Samantha Starmer, Lou Rosenfield, Andy Fitzgerald, Donna Lichaw, and Jorge Arango), and contributed our own meaningful dialogue both in our workshop and in Bram Wessel’s participation in the annual Academics and Practitioner’s Roundtable, which this year focused on diversity and inclusion in the IA field.

We came away inspired and ready to help our clients find solutions for their complex Information Architecture and User Research problems.

Oh, and if you’re not already, be sure to follow Factor on Twitter to review the insights and highlights we posted throughout the conference.
