Meet Jake
Jake Fatooh is a seasoned taxonomist, ontologist, and information architect with over a decade of experience designing and managing structured data systems across major tech and retail organizations. With a strong foundation in taxonomy, ontology, metadata, and schema development, Jake has contributed to the success of global brands like Meta, Amazon, and Williams Sonoma by transforming complex data ecosystems into intuitive, scalable structures.
His work spans enterprise-level product classification, knowledge graph development, and AI integration, helping teams improve data discoverability, automate classification processes, and enhance user experiences across eCommerce and digital platforms. He is currently based in Seattle and continues to support innovative, data-driven solutions for large-scale information environments.
Outside of his professional career, Jake has a background in opera, musical theater, and choral performance. Trained in classical voice performance at Southern Oregon University, he has appeared in productions with Seattle Opera, SF Lyric Opera, and the Seattle Gilbert and Sullivan Society, performing in works ranging from Don Giovanni and Carmen to Les Misérables and The Pirates of Penzance.
