Meet Grace

Grace Lau has a decade of experience as an information architect, interaction designer, and taxonomist. She’s worked on digital experiences for Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, Davita, Medtronic, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Auto Club of Southern California, Symptomfind, Investopedia, Veritas, and Symantec. Much of her expertise lies in design research, information architecture, content strategy, taxonomy, and interaction design.

Grace has been a board member of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T), a local organizer for World Information Architecture Day in Los Angeles, and a guest speaker on kitchen taxonomies at the University of California, Los Angeles Master’s in Library and Information Science (MLIS) program. She can also be found devoting time for World Information Architecture Day (WIAD) globally and locally in Los Angeles (WIADLA) and the 2018 Information Architecture Summit (IAS18).

Grace holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science and a Masters in Library and Information Studies at UCLA.

Grace is a member of the Information Architecture Institute (IAI) and the Association for Information Science & Technology (ASIS&T).

When she is not working, she is organizing clothes, sorting Lego bricks, and working on controlled vocabularies on kitchens and Asian dramas.
