Partner and Senior Information Architect
Sarah Barrett is fascinated by the way people interact with information in the wild, an essential trait for professionals whose work involves integrating human-centered design methods with information architecture and taxonomy theory and practice. Her special expertise has proved invaluable for such enterprise clients as Adobe, Microsoft, Safeco, UW Medicine, Crate & Barrel, Amazon, Catalina Marketing, West Marine, Expedia, Pearson Publishing, and Park City Lodging.
Sarah has an MLIS from the University of Washington, where she focused on the potential for libraries and librarians to be tool-builders and on the intersection of traditional information science and user experience. She is a frequent speaker at both national and regional conferences and workshops.
